Hello

My name is Delaney Thompson and I am nineteen years old. I was born and raised in Ankeny, Iowa, which is a suburb of Des Moines. I started Purpose Design Co because I want to teach you how to use your creativity for a purpose! What is my purpose? My purpose is, to share the good news of Jesus! Three important facts you need to know about me are:

1. I am a Christian! At the age of 10, I committed my life to Christ, and ever since I have shaped my life around God's will for me. There have definitely been some rough patches but God was faithful through it all.

2. I love being creative! I mean obviously, that is what my whole blog is about, creativity! I am creative not only in media but also in the kitchen. I have had a passion for cooking and baking ever since I was a little girl. I even work at a cookie shop in my hometown!

3. Lastly, I love to travel! Whether it is the beach, mountains, or the city, I am always up for an adventure. Out of all the places I have been to, I would have to say my favorite is Utah. Utah's landscape feels like another planet! The mountains and canyons are so beautiful! I also love the culture. If I could live in Utah for the rest of my life, it would be a dream come true.

4. I love to share the Gospel. The first time I went out and boldly shared my faith was in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was with Plant Camp for the Gospel where for 10 days we went out and reached the lost city. I also met my role model there. His name is Will Galkin and he taught me the importance of preaching the Gospel to the LDS church. He is the best pastor anyone could ask for. Here is a link to one of his sermons:
